Elections in Winchester are a close fight between the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives

Your vote WILL make the difference between whether our next MP is Lib Dem Danny Chambers or a Conservative.

How people vote in closely fought constituencies like here in Winchester and the Meon Valley will decide the result of the upcoming General Election.

At the last General Election, just 985 votes seperated the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives in Winchester constituency, making it one of the most marginal contests in the country. Just a handful of votes could decide which of them wins this time.

Every vote will make a difference between a Conservative or Lib Dem win here.

Labour can't beat the Tories in Winchester.

Lib Dem or Conservative here

There are two choices. Either we will get a Conservative MP - and the out of touch government will continue to take our part of Hampshire for granted, or we will get a Lib Dem MP in Danny Chambers and Winchester will have helped bring down this government.

No other result is possible here.

A Labour or Green vote will help the Conservatives win

The Winchester Constituency now includes parts of Meon Valley; Bishop’s Waltham, Swanmore, Waltham Chase, Owslebury, Cheriton and West Meon.

Labour have no Councillors on Winchester City Council and the Green Party didn’t even stand at the last General Election. Neither have come close to winning this constituency for at least 70 years.

Voting for either Labour or the Green Party risks letting the Conservatives win.
