Paula and Syed are strong, local champions for their communities
Paula Ferguson
Local Champion Paula Ferguson is getting things done in our community.
Paula is campaigning for Hampshire County Council to provide more crossings, safer streets and to fix our broken roads and pavements.
She is speaking up for residents impacted by the Conservatives recent decision to close the daycare centre at Chesil Lodge.
Paula served as a City Councillor from 2019 – 2023, where she led the Council’s response to the Cost of Living crisis, the local Homes for Ukraine scheme and retrofitting council homes.
She has lived in Winchester for 27 years, is a governor at Winnall Primary School and is a founding member of Hyde Women’s Institute.
You can rely on Paula to work hard all year round – not just at election time.
Syed Nasser
Local Champion Syed Nasser is getting things done in our community.
He is continuing the Lib Dem campaign for Hampshire County Council to provide more crossings and safer streets.
And he is working with our new County Councillor, Jonathan Williams, in the campaign to save the 61 bus from Conservative County cuts.
He has lived in Twyford for over 9 years, where he lives with his family and young children who attend St Mary’s Primary School.
Only Liberal Democrat Syed can beat the Conservatives here.
